Our internship program is designed for students who want hands on experience in writing, editing, publishing, and creative media while contributing to an active literary community.
Real Publishing Experience: See your work featured on a live poetry blog.
Creative Development: Get feedback on writing, editing, and content creation.
Portfolio Building: Publish blog posts, social media campaigns, or visual projects you can showcase.
Flexible & Remote: Work from anywhere, on your own schedule.
Mentorship: Receive guidance in literary editing, digital publishing, and creative communication.
Depending on your background and interests, you may:
Write or edit blog posts and poetry features.
Research poets, literary history, and trends.
Manage social media content and community engagement.
Edit and review poetry submissions.
Design graphics, illustrations, or multimedia for poems.
Assist with organizing virtual poetry events or interviews.
We welcome students from a variety of majors:
English / Creative Writing / Literature – for writing and editing.
Journalism / Communications / Marketing – for storytelling, outreach, and promotion.
Graphic Design / Media Studies – for visuals, video, and creative campaigns.
Library Science / Humanities – for research and curation.
If you’re passionate about poetry and eager to learn, you’re a great fit.
Format: Remote / online
Hours: 5–10 hours per week (flexible)
Length: 8–12 weeks (adjustable by semester)
Compensation: Unpaid, but eligible for college credit (depending on school requirements)
Supervision: Interns will receive regular feedback and mentorship from the blog editor.
About the Blog Editor: Gabrielle V. holds a Master’s degree in Visual Communications and has been designing and developing websites since 2012. She brings a strong background in digital media, design, and storytelling to the poetry community, combining technical expertise with a passion for creative expression.
